Robbin Block, Blockbeta Marketing

Robbin Block, marketing strategist and corporate renegade, has been evangelizing the benefits of marketing strategy for over 25 years.

Part geek, part creative, she combines the best of traditional and new media like nobody's business. She's given hundreds of engaging, motivating and often humorous presentations that deliver a dash of economic theory with a health dose of New York skepticism.

Robbin has taught at the university level and has consulted and worked for companies of all sizes including major corporations. She has in-depth knowledge of the Web and its strategic application to business. Her specialties include Web and mobile-based business models.

Robbin has an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. She has been a SCORE volunteer counselor and instructor since 2003, advising small businesses on matters of marketing and the Internet. Robbin also volunteers at KBCS 91.3FM on the One World Report public affairs program as a writer, copy editor and voice talent. She hopes to one day reach a wider audience with  her own radio show.
