Join us for a rollicking ride through websites looking for what makes them work and what trips them up. It's an opportunity to learn best practices. Several lucky attendees' websites will be chosen for a critique, and the floor is open to everyone to contribute their ideas. Ideas usually fly, so you’re sure to learn how to make your site all it can be at this event. It's a great way to get ready for the upcoming business season.
Package & Promote Your Service Business
Thursday, September 28, 2017
2 parts: 11am-12:30pm PST and 1pm-2:30pm PST
Selling services is not like selling vacuum cleaners. They're intangible: customers can’t see, touch or try before they buy.
Part 1 -- Package, 10:30-11:30
This workshop is designed to help you focus on what you're good at and how to package it into more attractive offerings that are easier to sell.
Part 2 -- Promote, 12noon-1pm
Get ideas and tips for spreading word of mouth and building your reputation, particularly through online marketing, and how to use your website in a more compelling way to drive leads and ultimately close more sales.
Saturday, September 30, 2017
The 21st annual Bizfair will be at Renton Technical College. This all day event is free and features everything a small business owner needs to know and a trade show linking you to loads of free resources.
Robbin will be teaching Slay the Social Media Dragon.
