Our Story

Serving Niche Businesses Since 2007

Blockbeta was started in Seattle in 2007 by Creative Marketing Strategist Robbin Block.

We see marketing as part of the entire business and don't let tools or tactics drive our recommendations. Leading with strategy, we help our clients make better marketing decisions to feel confident and prevent them from feeling overwhelmed. More reasons to work with us —>

We're located in Seattle, but serve clients across the U.S., providing:

  • Strategic, creative, and prioritized marketing plans
  • High converting website makeovers and launches
  • Digital marketing execution for growing B2B, B2C, and ecommerce (and traditional when appropriate)
  • We specialize in defining value propositions and messaging, increasingly important for service-based businesses

Who We Work With

Blockbeta works with expanding B2B and B2C businesses in high involvement products, services, and ecommerce — they're complex, high touch, often custom, and typically high ticket, yet low volume.

We look forward to working with you.

Creative Marketing Strategist

Robbin is the lead consultant at Blockbeta Marketing. She provides marketing strategy consulting and marketing communications project management and execution.

Robbin has an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany, which enables her to deliver marketing solutions focused on an entire business, not just a particular marketing tactic.

During her many years in the trade, she’s developed a unique perspective, having worked with almost every niche business imaginable, from cannabis to mobile tech, creative makers and designers. This helps her get right to the point when guiding clients through the increasingly complicated online marketing space, from developing high converting websites through to concepting media strategies.

An experienced speaker, Robbin:

  • Authored the book: Social Persuasion: Making Sense of Social Media for Small Business
  • Produced and hosted the live interview radio program Minding Your Business for 2 years in Seattle.
  • Was an SBA/SCORE entrepreneur mentor and instructor for about 16 years, advising emerging businesses on matters of marketing and the Internet.

Robbin excels at explaining marketing in a way that makes total sense, so business owners can make better decisions and feel confident about how to spend their marketing resources.

Robin was excellent to work with. She not only gave me what I wanted, she gave me what I needed (things I didn't know I needed). She was committed to the process of producing something excellent, which meant having me do homework to ensure she had the information that would result in something great. I highly recommend Blockbeta! — Patrick Love, Love Training and Coaching

Robbin at Blockbeta has helped my company in so many ways! She improved my landing and corporate page, added SEO to my site, advertised on Google, and most importantly she has given me amazing advice on pricing with large corporations. She is by far the best marketing person I have ever worked with and she responds to any requests immediately. Robbin sees the big picture of what to focus on and this is invaluable to the continued growth of Pretty Loaded. — Beth Warford, Pretty Loaded

Use the best of traditional and digital media and technology in a way that drives your business. Don't let the tactics drive you. — Robbin
