Website Building

We build websites with many of the most popular technologies. Yet, it's what's in them that counts.

Get one that’s professional, effective, reflects your marketing objectives.

There are many vendors who can use the tools, but they don't know what to put on the site to deliver on your business and operational goals, and truly connects with your customers. That takes marketing insight, not just the ability to work the tech.

Guiding visitors through your site and what you say to convince them to buy is ultimately the most important aspect. It’s where you should be spending most of your effort and/or resources. And it's often a reflection of the marketing strategy behind it.

And if you want to be found, making sure your site is optimized for Google search

Websites are More than a Pretty Face

Whether you have a website that's isn't performing the way you would like or need to create one, we know how to take advantage of the digi-sphere. We've been on the Web since the ice age — for real, we had a 600 baud modem. There were no images. Just text that would appear letter by letter. We’ve learned a lot since then.

As marketing strategists, why did we start building websites?

We often have found it difficult to convince clients that working on strategy alone was worth it. Our solution was to get clients to see the value of strategy through the improvement or creation of a website that not only attracts and converts visitors, but assists with operations as well. In this way, we turned what we knew into something tangible.

Websites Based on Strategy

Website Building & Structure

We use all types of technologies to build websites. We can work with your existing platform or recommend the right one for your business.

You'll get a professional and effective mobile site that's easy to maintain without coding. And it will grow with you as your business grows.

We're generally agnostic when it comes to choosing a website platform, but we've built sites on many of the most popular, including:

  • Duda
  • Shopify
  • Squarespace
  • Softr
  • Weebly
  • Wix
  • Wordpress

These are our favorites, depending on application:

  • Squarespace, Wix, and Duda for brochure-ware sites. Squarespace has the best-designed templates for businesses with great images or who are strong on the creative side. Not recommended for ecommerce.
  • Shopify for ecommerce hands down. Unless you have a single or digital product, where a plugin like Gumroad might do the trick.
  • Wordpress is ideal for sites needing higher-level content management or where blogging is critical to the business. It's not always recommended, because it requires more vigilant management.

We know these platforms well and can help you choose the right one to support your business, operational, and marketing goals.

  • Brochure-Ware Sites

Depending on the nature of the business, and for sites that are primarily a company's brochure, we recommend using Squarespace, Wix, or Duda. Wordpress is recommended in some instances, although its complexity and functionality isn't always warranted.

  • Ecommerce Sites

From building ecommerce-enabled websites to developing initial promotions, we've helped introduce many new products to the market. There are all types of tools for ecommerce, but we're unabashed in almost always recommending Shopify.

    Our Approach to Ecomm
  • Database-Driven Sites

For sites that require access to a database backend, we develop Softr.io-based sites. Duda has some capability iin this area as well.

  • Course-Based and Other Specialty Sites

We have experience with Kijabi and other course-based platforms. Squarespace is offering course-building functionality as well. Then there are reservation systems and all types of plugins that can deliver this functionality.

Included in Our Website Builds

We can take the development of your site from concept through putting it online. This includes the following:

  • Concept development, planning, marketing management, and consulting
  • Platform and technology recommendations for a fully-functional and responsive (mobile) website to support marketing and operations
  • Templates (specific to each platform) that are customized with your logo, branded colors, a variety of fonts, icons, and more (we don't typically recommend custom coding, which can be expensive and comes with its own set of problems. And there's usually an app for pretty much everything you might need).
  • Organization and creation of navigation menu and page architecture
  • Image and content pick-up, with light editing, from your existing site, with recommendations for additional content (or we provide estimates for creating content)
  • Add functionality, if not native to chosen platform, such as for email marketing, reservations, courses, and more
  • Links to the social networks
  • Manage the back-end technical details, such as pointing your domain name to your new site and making connections to Google Analytics and Search Console (critical for online visibility to search engines).
